Project updates

Extending for 26 kilometres, the Sydney Metro Northwest includes 13 stations from Chatswood to Tallawong. It is Australia's first driverless metro train and will operate as a turn-up-and-go system with services every four minutes. The $8.3 billion project is the biggest public transport project in Australia since the Sydney Harbour Bridge was built almost 100 years ago.

Battery Energy is pleased to be able to supply the emergency backup power for the communications system.

Our in-house Engineering and Design team will custom design the solution for the critical DC UPS to cater for the specific battery capacity required as well as the height and footprint limitations. The solution will consist of Battery Energy EnerGEL standby batteries and custom engineered enclosures to suit the Sydney Trains Substations between Chatswood and Macquarie University (inclusive).
