Battery Energy Power Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Michael Glenn to the position of Technical Development Officer.
The timing of the appointment aligns with the company’s aggressive growth goals for 2021. As Technical Development Officer, Michael Glenn will be responsible for the ongoing research and development in the area of energy storage innovation and deployment of Battery Energy Lithium technology, advanced lead acid batteries and new ground breaking technologies. Michael is a representative on the Technical Committee for the Consortium for Battery Innovation.
Michael obtained his PhD at The University of Newcastle. Recently he joined Battery Energy Power Solutions Pty Ltd after working to develop battery management strategies for CSIRO designed solutions. He is interested in employing chemical and electrochemical techniques to enhance energy-storage devices.
Michael is a thought leader in the field of battery science with more than 20 publications with his research covering a wide range of technologies.
